If James Bond had a compass, he would have this one. It’s got more features than an Aston Martin DB9, and a baseplate longer than an ironing board. Comes with it’s own guided missile and parachute.

But seriously, continuing with my Silva analogy, if the Ranger 3 is the big brother of the Field 7, then the Exped 4 is the wise and masterful patriarch. This is the compass mountain leaders use, and the one to use if you need to get it right. It has so many features that Silva themselves got bored listing them and resorted to this:
