Inov-8 Terroc 330

our price: £58.50 reduced from £65.00

I’ve sold a tremendous number of these in the shop to summer-time fell walkers. They’re so light compared other fell walking shoes, and the mesh upper makes them very cool too. They are technically trail running shoes, which makes them ideal on paths and tracks and in particular dry rocks, where they seem to be very sticky. You are low to the ground which makes them nice and stable, but it also means that there is not a great deal of shock absorption. The sole is very flexible and allows your foot to move completely naturally, so much so that people who try them on in the shop liken them to slippers, except that your foot is held very securely by the lacing, and so they are supportive slippers, and much better on a rocky traverse than tartan with a fleece lining.

I have these ones too. (There’s a box in my hall which is full of inov-8s. I’m up to six pairs now i think) I wouldn’t fell run in them as the sole is not grippy enough for wet grass (you need one of the other inov-8s for that) but i would trail run, if i ever did that, and I have used them for fell walking and as a climbing approach shoe. Mostly i wear them to work and down the pub, and they look great with shorts too.

This shoe is such an all-rounder, then i would say if you can only have one pair of shoes in your life, then have this pair. They can do a bit of everything.
